Using a combination of hosting, energy suppliers, smart design and SEO we are working to lower our digital and business footprint.

No, we are proud to have a large network of various businesses be a part of The WIP. The problem of over production, over consumption and waste is not just a problem in the fashion industry. We actively encourage those from other industries to join our community, so that we can learn, share and grow together.

Lower Impact mode can be activated anywhere on the platform. It uses a monochrome palette because the darker the colour appearing on your screen, the less the LED’s in your screen have to be on. So our charcoal colour consumes less electricity. Lower Impact mode also display’s alt text in place of images, making the page much lighter and quicker to load, again using less electricity. As we develop the platform, we will be working on more ways to reduce our carbon footprint and your energy consumption.
